Mobile embedded computing with video interface for use in outdoor areas

At Stand 458 in Hall 12 between 14 and 16 February, this leading electronics development company will be displaying ICs and sensors, as well as a special highlight – a customer-specific, real-time computer platform intended for mobile use outdoor. The real-time platform is based on the E²Brain-Modul ‘MEB5200’ designed by MAZeT and, thanks to the Coral PA graphics processor from Fujitsu, can offer a powerful range of video functions, as well as the MPC5200 processor. In addition to standard interfaces such as RS232, Ethernet, IDE (CF) and USB, a video input is also integrated. The incoming video stream is displayed in real time. With consumption of less than 2W when running in full operation mode, a working temperature range of (-40...+85)°C and excellent robustness against shaking and shocks, the board is qualified for mobile use and battery operation.

In the optoelectronics sector, MAZeT will take the opportunity at ‘embedded world 2006’ to present the MTI04CS/CQ to the general public for the first time – the second generation of multi-channel, programmable transimpedance amplifiers. The new JENCOLOR signal amplifier is particularly suitable for use in preparing sensor signals with output currents.
