Jena, February 22, 2005: As a result of joint efforts by the MAZeT Management and its workforce the DQS was able to confirm in December, on yet another occasion, that the company has successfully implemented and is working in line with the Quality Management System according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000. During the audit, the MAZeT GmbH team delivered proof of their excellent skills for running consistent quality processes relating to anything from design to manufacturing to delivering good products to the customer

The international standard which has been in force since December 2000 allows the company to choose a practical hands-on description for all those processes which are essential for raising overall process safety. The requirements on the various design and management operations have significantly grown compared to the previous standard.

By pursuing complex system integration, MAZeT introduces its entire know-how from the initial design to readiness for manufacturing, launch of commercial production, delivery and follow-on support of system components. Proprietary products are selected components for special applications in automation engineering and industrial measurement, as well as specific ICs, color sensors and boards.
Marketing skills combined with high quality standards have been regarded as the decisive factors of success in the twelve year long history of MAZeT GmbH.

MAZeT GmbH holds a certificate that covers all types of its operations and structural units – the development, manufacture and sale of electronic modules and integrated circuits, and software design processes. All main processes and secondary processes are laid down in flow charts and can be viewed on the company’s Intranet by every employee. They provide the basis for a strong personal commitment and a self-reliant approach to the working tasks every employee is facing in his/her job position.

Operating in line with the quality standard since 1996, the company has established procedures and mechanisms for the development of integrated circuits and electronic modules, which are documented as a single core process. Clearly defined design phases with final review events, specifications regarding the way in which design documents must be compiled, and policies encouraging a close relationship with the customer are key to the successful handling of external customer orders.
