Jena, January 5 2012 – along with more than 80 other exhibitors, MAZeT GmbH participated in the "academix Thüringen" (www.academix-thueringen.de), which took place for the first time in Erfurt’s exhibition centre on December 14 2011. The academix is Thuringia’s first state-wide careers fair for students, graduates and young professionals and was promoted throughout Germany. At MAZeT, various offers were showcased for traineeships, MA theses and permanent employment. This new device uncovers the smallest differences in color and transmission changes. “Developed in cooperation with the medical technology and biotechnology departments at the University of Applied Sciences Jena, we will present the first prototype of an opto-fluidic measuring station using the JENCOLOR color sensor at the tradeshow ” says Dr. Fred Grunert, managing director of MAZeT GmbH. “With this measuring unit you can quickly verify for which applications the JENCOLOR sensors are suited. The presented innovations include the Truecolormeter "colorStriker" by Mathai, for which MAZeT supplies the complete hardware, as well as the prototype of a portable fluidic testing environment developed by MAZeT in cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences Jena. Jena, 22 November 2010 – A new member of the multiple color sensors is the so-called integrated TIAM4 module. In addition to the spectral operating detector, it contains the entire sensor electronics on-chip. The photocurrents of the detector are converted into voltages and are available via S & H on a MUX on the output side as an analog voltage signal for digital conversion. The TIA-based amplifier is individually programmable in transimpedance over eight levels and is characterized by a very good linearity in the amplifier stages and by low noise. more... |

Jena, 22 November 2010 – MAZeT introduces a new MDDC 4-channel sensor signal amplifier for sensors with current output, which also converts small input currents quickly and across a high bandwidth and dynamic range and digitizes them on chip via a transimpedance amplifier. Transimpedance amplifiers are preferred in industrial measurement technology for their rapid and cyclic conversion and amplification of the very small currents used in optoelectronic sensors.
